Due to merger and relocation of city hall, city hall branches are closed as of April 30, 2010 and now act as General Service Counter (listed below) to continue serving the local citizens.
*As for former Kasuga branch, it no longer act as one of the branch and there is no General Service Counter.
*You can only apply for Resident Register Card at new city hall (by Kenkyugakuen Station).

Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, National holidays, New Year Holiday (December 29th to January 3rd)
Main duties includes:
1．Issuing of certificates for residence registry related documents
*If the resident is registered outside of Tsukuba city, the residence registry is only issued between 9am - 4:30pm.
2．Issuing of Notifications of Remotions (notification of change of address, notification of moving in, notification of moving out, notification of change of head of household, notification of merger of household, notification of separation of household, etc.)
3．Issuing of certificates for family registry related documents
Note
For Family Register, Removal from family register, Copy of family register as well as identification card are only issued for residence who are registered to Tsukuba city. If you are registered as a citizen in other cities or towns, we cannot issue the the register listed above. Please go to registered city's designated office to register issued.
