The Globlization and Culture Division aims to further international relations in the community by offering various events and services to the community. The activities include:
- Coordinating relationships with our four sister cities
- Managing "Tsukuba City Information" website
- Publishing an informative newsletter in 6 languages: Chinese, English, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai
- Offering guidance and counseling to the foreign residents of Tsukuba in five languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Thai
- Hiring Coordinator For International Relations
- Hiring Overseas Student Coordinator For International Relations
- Publishing the "My Town Tsukuba" map and information page
- Publishing the "Living in Tsukuba" guide in English and Chinese
- Translating official city documents for other sections of City Hall
- Acting as a window to the other services offered by the City Hall
