Tsukuba Expo Center was secured as a permanent memorial facility after the International Science Expo '85. The center offers an excellent opportunity to come into contact with science. The Planetarium Hall with a capacity of 340 guests is also available as a medium size convention hall.

* For December and January, Tsukuba Expo Center closes at 4:30pm

every Monday (if Monday is a holiday, it is postponed to Tuesday),at the end/beginning of the year

Exhibition ticket (Exhibition only):

  • 300yen (Adult)
  • 150yen (Child)


Planetarium ticket (Exhibition and Planetarium):

  • 700yen (Adult)
  • 350yen (Child)


Sunset ticket (For last screening for Planetarium only):

  • 500yen (Adult)
  • 250yen (Child)


*Sunset ticket is only abailable for limited time (Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, Spring break, Golden week, Summer break to name a few) throughout the year and the tickets are sold AFTER 4:20pm.
*Due to Limited time offer, the price of the ticket is at reduced rate.
