Come and Visit Mt. Tsukuba in Autumn (updated Nov. 11, 2011)

Take the ropeway or cable car and enjoy great autumn color viewing at Mt. Tsukuba this season. You can also take part in autumn festivals and events going on nearby.

Tsukuba Momiji Festival
* Date: November 1-30

• Nov 15: Free Foot Hotspring at Mt. Tsukuba
• Nov 19: Outdoor tea party, sales of fresh products and gifts
• Nov 26: Charity Rice Cake Making, free mochi

Cable Car at night with Momiji Light-up
* Date: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays between Nov. 3-27 (closed during stormy weather)

• Operating hours: 17:00-20:00 (20 min interval)
• Fee: Adults pay 1,000 yen for round trip, free for elementary school children and under

Ropeway at Night - Stardust Cruising

• Date: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from Oct - Dec (also Fridays in December)except New Year's day and stormy weather
• Operating hours: 17:00-21:00 (20 min interval)
• Fee: Adults pay 1,000 for round trip, free for elementary school children under
