1. Sweet Potatos and Cosmos

How about experiencing sweet potato digging and cosmos picking?

• Date: Saturday, October 1st, 2011(Canceled only in case of heavy rain)
• Place: Field, south of Kukuzaki 2nd Elementary School
• Fee: Free
• What to bring: work gloves, rubber boots, work clothes, bag to carry sweet potato and cosmos

2. Sweet Potatos

At Tsukuba Furusato Farm, families can come for a sweet potato digging experience and enjoy a free serving of roasted sweeto potato with drinks!

• Date: Sunday, October 2nd, 2011 (Postponed to Oct.9 in case of rain)
• Time: 10:00 am ~
• Place: Furusato Farm (Near Hojo-Oike Lake. Parking available)
• Max: 100 persons
• Fee: 500yen for adults, 300 yen for elementary school students and under (maximum of 3 potatoes each)
