Shimenawa Rope Making

"Shimenawa" is a sacred Shinto rope generally hung on doors during the New Year holidays which serves as a charm against evil spirits. You can experience making your own Shimenawa in preparation for 2012.

  • Location: Toyosato Yukari no Mori (Arts and Craft Workshop - Kogei-kan)
  • Maximum: 30 Participants
  • Fee: 300 Yen
