In order to make the best of the new Tsukuba Express train which began its operation on August 24, 2005, the city has opened Tokyo office in Akihabara. The office will work hard to promote the Tsukuba area and act as a liaison between industry, academia and the government.
Tsukuba city Tokyo office function as;
1) strategic front-line base for Tsukuba City in an inner-city area
2) support center for citizens of Tsukuba, researchers, students as well as business owners in Tokyo area.
For inquiries and consultation about Tsukuba, please feel free to contact us. The Tokyo office has "Communication Support Space for Researchers - Research Exchange Salon: 研究交流サロン" as well. Please make the most of the facility.
