Continuing Education Volunteers

The City is looking for volunteers who can help with continuing education programs for children and adults. Volunteers can plan and implement their own events and they can also participate in a number of events that have been continuing over the years. Volunteers must be above 16 years of age. Foreign Language Volunteers Wanted

For the advancement of a multicultural society here in Ibaraki and to promote international exchange, the Ibaraki Prefectural Government and the Ibaraki International Relations Association are recruiting Foreign Language Volunteers for Thai, Tagalog, Indonesian, Singhalese, and other non-English languages. Volunteers must reside within the prefecture and be above 16 years of age. Any nationality is welcome. Main duties will revolve around the translating of documents, as well as providing interpretation services for foreign residents. This may include providing language support for health care providers, patients, and foreign trainees sponsored by the Prefectural Government.
